President (known by many names including Asshole, Scum, Capitalism) is a climbing card game for 3-8 players. Players try to empty their hands by playing equal or higher cards than the previous play. The first out becomes President, the last becomes the lowest rank.

They clear the pile and give you control.
Play pairs and triples when possible
Harder for opponents to beat.
Pass strategically to let others fight while you conserve high cards.
As Scum, play low cards quickly to gain momentum before giving up your best cards.
Watch the card count
Forcing opponents to pass when they have few cards is powerful.
Pairs/triples of low cards are surprisingly valuable - others may not be able to beat them.
