Be the first player to reach 10,000 points through strategic dice rolling and scoring.
Visão geral
Farkle (also known as 10000, Zilch, or Hot Dice) is a push-your-luck dice game using six dice. Players roll for points and must decide whether to bank their score or risk it all for more. One bad roll can cost everything you've accumulated that turn.
Configuração
Use six standard dice. Players need paper to track scores. Determine play order (usually highest single die roll). Starting threshold is typically 500 points (you must score at least this on a turn to 'get on the board').
Como jogar
- On your turn, roll all six dice.
- After each roll, set aside at least one scoring die or combination (see scoring below).
- You may then roll the remaining dice to accumulate more points.
- If a roll produces no scoring dice, you 'Farkle' and lose all points accumulated that turn.
- If all six dice score, pick them all up and continue rolling (hot dice).
- At any point, you may stop and bank your accumulated turn score.
- Scoring: 1s = 100 points, 5s = 50 points, three-of-a-kind = value x 100 (e.g., three 4s = 400), three 1s = 1000.
- Additional scoring combinations vary by house rules (straights, pairs, etc.).
Vencer o jogo
First player to 10,000 points wins. When someone reaches 10,000, other players get one more turn to try to beat them.
